Mint Error Quarter Question

I was at a yard sale last week and ran across something quite interesting. No pics of it (unfortnately).

It was a Kansas State Quarter with the "K" Missing, and no "In God We Trust" on the quarter at all. "E" From "E Pluribus Unum" was also missing. I told the lady to send it into PCGS since I had absolutely no clue as to what to offer her.

Any thoughts? I hope this is the right place to post the question ,being my first post & all , but I haven't found anything on this particular mint error.

to CCF. Without a photo it's hard to say for sure but it sounds like a Grease Filled Die.

Without pictures, the most likely cause would be a clogged die. A missing letter or number here and there is fairly common but they can be worth a few dollars when entire portions of the coin design are missing like IGWT or a date.
