1989 Cent No VDB - Coin Community Forum

1989vdb New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 05/26/2011 04:10 am I got this in pocket change and had this for over 20 years. I've never found anything about it other than a brief article back in 1989. Has anybody else seen or heard of the no VDB 1989 cent or know what something like this could be worth? As you can see in my photo, the die was chipped right where the VDB should have been. Report this Post to the Staff

No VDB would mean the die was over polished and removed those devices on the bust or the die was filled in with grease. Cud a better find!
