Here's another one I'd like to get opinions on.

The reverse looks like a solid VG-8, maybe even VG-10. The obverse however might barely scrape a G-4. The strong reverse could bring the overall grade to G-6. The attractive problem-free surfaces likely will bring the market value higher than the technical grade would suggest.

The 1801 is a tough date and this is a nice example.

I knew I'd be obverse limited on this one & was hoping it might hit G4. Any ideas as to why the obverse is more worn?

The obverse might make G-4, and the reverse looks at least VG-8. I would give it an over all grade of G-6. Still a nice coin and one which I would like to have.
Rest in Peace

I agree with Jaobler, around G-4 to G-6 net. That's a really nice coin, I wish I had one!

Man I hate to be a killjoy my guess is FR2. The reverse is G4 or better.

The obverse has much more wear.

On the obverse there a lot of scratches over liberty 11:30 to about 2:00 may have been pushed over a rough serface.

This one just got back from Anacs with a G4. I'm a little bit surprised it didn't come back with a details grade. There are a lot of scratches that are visible under a 10x loupe.

Net grade of G-4 due to the strong reverse. Obverse is closer to AG3.

Obverse looks AG and the reverse looks VG so a G-4/6 grade seems about right.
