OK, I give up - How do you add your Signature?

1.) Go to Edit Profile from My CCF.
2.) Type in my password.
3.) Then type in "Signature" in the box? What Box?

Would it not be easier just to have something marked "Signature" in my profile to up-date?

I can't be the only one here that's having a problem - make it simple for the users - HELP ! I'm a Engineer, but this is a Casey Stengel deal here, wrapped in a Catch-22 - I can't figure it out.

but not until 100 quality posts, sorry
(not sure what constitutes a quality post)

starting at step 3 of your list

on the right column are state, country, gender, the open/blank box below gender is where you type your signature. Then you can click Preview to see how it would look

Go to the tab "My CCF". After clicking on that, click the "Edit Profile" tab. There will be an Edit User Profile page, go to the signature bar and left click anywhere in the box. The cursor should come up, type what you want, when done click "submit"...done.

On the Edit User Profile page, the Signature box is just below the one labelled "Gender". However, you can't see this box (which is indeed labelled "Signature") unless you've got the required number of posts.

It is easier to explain what clearly isn't a quality post.

Posts made in certain forums, such as the Welcome, Sales and here in the Support sections don't add to post count - so those are automatically "not quality", however helpful or interesting the post might have been. Furthermore, going through the US Coin sections (where posts do add to post count) and posting "nice coin" dozens of times, just to bump your post count up, is not "quality posting" either. If the moderators notice anybody doing this (known as "post-padding"), we delete the irrelevant posts and manually alter the post count back down again, and usually send the offender an e-mail politely asking them to refrain from ever doing that again.

There's been virtually no post-padding here on this forum since we bumped the number of posts required to sell up from 50 to 250.

Is it 100 or 101 posts for a signature? Because I got the signature box in Edit my Profile when I reached 101 posts, instead of the 100 that it says in the rules. Is that normal, or does the system just not like me?
