So here is a counter stamp that leaves me wondering Is this worth more than face value.Oh.. If anyone was wondering why I have been gone so long... I was in the hospital. The back of this coin... Which I forgot to take a picture of has 1/2 of the coin consumed in verdigris.

Sorry to hear you were in hospital. Hope all is well! Yeah that's JFK I've found 5 or 6 of these. Probably the most common counterstamp.

Sorry to hear you were in the hospital too. Amida17 is right as they are pretty common. They sell on ebay for an average of around $1.00. You can search for Lincoln Kennedy penny in ebay. There are about 30 or so listed right now.

This would be my second counter stamp, my first one being the letters NY surrounded by the shape of the state.

Just Google "Kennedy Lincoln coincidences" and have your nights reading.

I have one, it was the first counter stamp I ever found. I had no idea what it was, I thought it was garbage so I put it in my damaged coin bag where I put anything interesting looking cut in half coins, bent stuff, painted stuff, toned stuff, ect I saw one on here and dug it out haha I had no idea, cool little coins though

I love these counterstamps. I have 2 of these Kennedys, plus a few state counterstamps. All found while roll-searching. I wish they were slightly more common, it'd be a fun collection if you could find more while roll-searching!

I sometimes wonder if there are some people in this forum who do the counter stamps then release the coins into circulation for us to find :)

I stamped my initials "MA" into 100 2009 Lincolns some time last year just for that reason. Mixed them with about 500 Zincolns, then poured them into a coinstar machine. I'm still waiting to see if anybody posts a pic of one.
