$100? What were they having, a half price sale? I would say you did very well. The 02 and 26 are worth that much, and the other two together may price at another $100 together.

I agree - you did great! I like that 1802 especially!

I think you scored. The 1802 and 1826 are worth the hundred dollars you paid. The other 2 only add to the value in my opinion. I have 28 large cents in my collection, with the 1802 as the oldest. Good find

Picked them up at local coin shop that had a small box of about 30-40 large cents between 1820-1859. They were priced at $27.00 per coin or 4 for a $100.00. I have been stalking them for a few weeks along with a few of their draped bust large cents. Made an offer that included the large cent with an original price of $35.00. I am a begginer so hearing that I made out good makes me very happy.

Nice photography work, and you are welcome, I figured you may be able to use the links. That is why we are here to help and learn from each other. By the way, I love big coppers and yours make me green with envy. You did well now get back to the shop with the tools I have given you and bring home some more of those beauties for us to over.

I generally agree with your grading, but I don't think the 1849 quite makes XF, just a little too much wear for that. Solid VF+ though. Also, I think you're being too hard on the 1802, the missing LIBERTY is likely more from a weak strike than wear. I think it's a solid G.
All in all, you got an AMAZING deal for $100.
