I am impressed. Two for Two on the grade I purchased it by.

Guess I am doing something right by reading all those stinking books...
Rest in Peace

can't add much on this one because I agree with the above grades. I usually look at the coin and go right to posting my first impression before even reading what others have already said but for some reason I saw the grade in the next post so went ahead and read the other one as well and we all 3 agree on the grade because that is exactly my first impression when I looked at the coin as well

Coin could grade between VF20 to VF35, although it appears to have been cleaned at some point. The fields have a consistent pattern on the reverse which indicate possible cleaning below the relief areas that could only be obtained by embellishment.

Bryan, I know exactly what you mean, first instincts and all. I do that a lot too. From what I know from series to series, this one screamed VF25.
I love these dealers who grade coins VG9, VF27. I guess there is some validity to it if you think about it.

I purchased the coin at "F12" value. I thought it rated higher than that.

The coin hasn't been cleaned, they were in 2X2 flips so the swirls could have been the mylar covering the coin.

Thanks for everyone's input.
