Just got back from my local flea market. I was looking for a good Shield nickel for my type set. The dealer thought he didnt have any, but we looked for a while. Finally when I was about to leave "Ah! here they are. I've got 20 dollars in em. You can have one for 21 dollars".
I ended up spending 23 dollars on US coins and a buck on foriegn, but thats for another forum...

I gave $21 for the Shield nickel, and $1 a piece for the indian heads.
The V nickel was in a foriegn coin bin at 5 for a dollar.

agreed that nickel is really nice.
As to flea markets. A seller at one I go to has bins on his table of US coins and one for foriegn coins. I had to show him he had Shield nickels in the foriegn bin and he insisted they were from some other country since our Nickels just don't look like that.
