beautiful. I too love them. I picked up a few slabbed earlier this year off of HA. just common dates though. I really enjoy the full bands but they will set you back a bit. a guy at one of the local flea market will have them under melt some times, so I try to get a few off of him when I can make it.

The coin that got me interested in old coins and ultimately my collecting addiction was a 1917-S Mercury dime I found just outside the back door of an old house our family moved into in Santa Cruz, CA it was lying there on top of the dirt a couple of inches from the three foot wide slab of concrete which ran the width of the house. It was the day after we moved in, February 2, 1966, a few days before my tenth birthday. The dime was a VF.

Here is the 1937 Merc in my 20th Century type set.
