The Indian Head cents from 1859 - 1864 are quite a bit thicker. The question is how many of these can fit in a regular size roll? Back when these were minted did the banks use rolls for these coins? If so were they longer rolls of 50?

Measure the thickness of a CN cent and then multiply that by 50. Measure the length of a cent wrapper and that will tell you if they will fit into it or not.

It would seem that coin wrappers did not come into use until the late 1940's when the population would have had larger numbers of cents in their possession at any given time. In the pre 1942 United States the cent had much more buying power than during and after WWII so there probably wasn't a large enough demand for something like that. Just a theory.
