Going through my cupboard and I found a sack of coins, I think they were my dads. Anyway most of them are Australian pennies however the oldest coins in there were some american dollar coins, just wanted to know if any of them were valuable I've got 1921, 1887, 1882 and 1876 they all look the same except 1876 which has a lady sitting on some kind of parcel holding a branch.
anyway your thoughts would be much appreciated.

those would be Morgan dollars and the condition makes a big difference in value, so does the mint mark which is located on the reverse under the eagle's tail feathers. Congrats on the cool find!

oh, and the 1876 is called a Trade dollar and could be fairly valuable if real and in good condition. Be warned there are a lot of fakes though.

from the pictures the Trade dollar looks polished but that could be just from the photo. I have to tell you this is one of the highest counterfeited coins the US has ever made and allot ofd them were counterfeited as soon as they were made so there are some contemporary counterfeits out there among some that just left china on a boat this morning. This coin would really either need to be sent to a good TPG (like ANACS, PCGS or NGC) or at least have at least 3 dealers look at it to make sure its genuine before you decide what to do with it. I am not saying sell it to a dealer because if they think you don't know anything about coins they will probably give you a low ball offer unless they are an honest dealer (but you have to approach all dealers like the crooks and let them prove you wrong in this hobby). The Morgans don't really have anything I can see that would cause me to think they were counterfeit so I believe you will be alright with them. None of these coins will make you rich so you can quit your job but the lot of the US Dollars are probably worth a few hundred dollars if you can verify the authenticity of the Trade dollar

The Trade dollar looks legit to me...however, it is polished (cleaned), which 99 percent of the time negatively affects the value.
