Just for sake of clarity, every letter and number near the rim on the OBV and REV have these identical markings... this is the first time I came across something like this!

The way it flows toward the outer devices I would think deterioration. But someone will probably prove me wrong...

That is a very cool bizarre coin!! I wish it was in a little bit better shape, but where there is one, there should be another!! I am going to take a pic of all the letters on the OBV and REV and dedicate a page on my website to it... just because I can, lol... Thanks for all the help!
