I went to the bank today to get my usual box of cents. I noticed on the side there were some really nice looking half dollars in her change thing. So I asked for them all and ended up being 5 dollars of them. Well to my surprise they were all proofs. And better yet all different years from 1999-2008.

Low and behold!

Hm, someone must have been desperate for money and broke into some mint sets. These are all clad proofs, correct?

The San Francisco can be either silver or clad proof. A big bonus for silver though.

Once again I'm amazed at some of the sweet pick ups folks at CCF achieve.
Great find!

Very nice condition for proofs in circulation.

The few I find in roll searching have been around the block once or thrice.

LOL, Tim!

I'm with timsumrall: some kiddo decided to spend them. How'd they end up all at the same bank, together; video arcade, maybe? I guess alternative is someone wanted the other coins in the set? Some very cool collector seeding, maybe?
