Just picked up a full roll of 1946 Rosie's that are still in the original coin wrapper from the bank. I am afraid to take them all out of the wrapper at once however; I did sneak a look at the first three and they are beautiful. They are not proofs, just business strikes, but the detail is gorgeous.

I paid 135.00 for the roll which is a little under melt but these dimes are BU in every aspect. I placed the roll inside a coin safe tube and will store them for my retirement. Couldn't believe that I seen them at my coin shop. He gave me a "Frequent" customer discount....

If I can get up the nerve, I might take them out of the roll and post pics.

What do you do in a situation like that?

Careful take each dime out, then put it in a 2x2 , or something else?

I recently opened up the box of silver I bought in Sept 2008 when the house market crashed. I didn't realize it but I had around 50 BU 1964 roosies, it's so neat to see something look so great that's quite old. I can't imagine your excitement!

I havent worked up the nerve to take them all out. It is the original wrapper from the bank and quite fragile.

My curiousity is the same as yours....

Break 'em out and see what you have. I had the same problem with some rolls of 1966 BU jeff nickels a few weeks ago (in original bank rolls) and I was advised to break them open. Afterwards, I picked out the best two and put them in 2 x 2's, then the rest went into coin tubes. Let's see pics!

1946 has a lot of really cool doubled dies, too!

There's is absolutely no way a roll would ever stand a chance with me.

Let me know if you find any of these (I need one!)

Nice grab! No worries in breaking them open and checking them out! If you don't find anything, just so long as you're careful, then there's no problem sticking them in a tube afterwards.
