So now that I have posted photos of some of my raw pieces I would like to know which grading service this forum thinks I should send them to? These are the ones I'm interested in having slabbed.

1875 s/cc

PCGS-Or-NGC?
PCGS-Or-NGC?

1869 proof half

PCGS-Or-NGC?
PCGS-Or-NGC?

1932 d quarter

PCGS-Or-NGC?
PCGS-Or-NGC?

1921 d dime

PCGS-Or-NGC?
PCGS-Or-NGC?

1838 bust half

PCGS-Or-NGC?
PCGS-Or-NGC?

There are more possibilities but these are the ones I want to ensure protection for.

NGC is probably better for that Trade dollar if it has been cleaned. At least then you'll get a great on top of the 'details' instead of just genuine. LOVE that proof half by the way.

this all comes down to what you are wanting to do with the coins. If you are wanting to sale them any time in the near future I would probably try PCGS since their coins always seem to sell for more money than NGC. If for just protection for your collection with no intentions of selling but may decide to do so some time in the future NGC would be great. If you have no intentions of selling ever no matter what happens then ANACS will do fine to protect the coins and also let you enjoy the coins for many years without having to worry about them getting scratched or hit against something while storing them, but ANACS slabbed coins sell for less than NGC or PCGS coins but this may not be the way it is down the road since the consensus is that ANACS's grading has become more strict than even PCGS's but you never know if you can change the perception of collectors by the time you do sell the coins. I am a member of both companies and if I am planning on selling the coin I usually send to PCGS (unless they are already in a NGC slab and I just need attribution on the slab) and if I don't plan on selling but may if I need to then I send to NGC

I expect PCGS would slab the Trade dollar and Mercury dime as Genuine due to cleaning and/or surface problems. They may also find a problem with the bust half. The Washington quarter looks OK and I hope your beautiful Seated half slabs as no-problem but you'll have to send them in to find out.

If you want at least details grades for all then choose NGC or ANACS.
