Found this on the interwebs. Die clash marks might be on both sides or they might be on only one side. If two dies come together during a die clash, one die might be damaged beyond use or it might be pulled out and replaced so that the die that is most damaged can be re-polished for later use. That is a nice clash! Here are a couple pics of mine that I found a couple years ago. This is by far the strongest clash that I have found. It also affects both sides. Just curious, what year and mint is yours?   |
