Do you hold them in an album, in their individual boxes or?

I did forget to say that, as most know ... These are 90% silver coins .. which to me it is cool to have big size .. dollars coins in high grade and proofs .. that are silver Quote: Do you hold them in an album, in their individual boxes or? I have a lighthouse coin case for these. It holds five trays, that stack inside the case. Each tray holds 20 coins. Right now my proofs ASE are located in the same case, until I get more commemorative dollar.

how do you come across all these coins? Some of them I've never seen before.

You have some beautiful commemoratives.
May I suggest you add to your military commems and get the most gorgeous one of all; the 2005 Marine Corps coin. I may be biased, as I am a former Marine, but it is just so simple and un-cluttered that it is stunning.

GoldRush58, I really like your display box and trays; it gives you access and comparability to your coins. All my commemorates and ASE proofs are in their mint boxes making it cumbersome to examine more than a few at a time. I don't want to take them out of their protective plastic housing and with no albums available that will account for these plastic encapsulations this seems like a good fit for protection and visibility.

Quote: how do you come across all these coins? Some of them I've never seen before This is just a sample of the ones I have and the ones that are out there. Most coin shops will have few, I watch for them to come in. ebay and online stores are a good place to get them, I have ordered several from coinsbybobby.com Of course the mint is good for getting the new releases. I have the U.S. Army BU one for this year and the Medal of Honor commemorative I hope will be here this week.

I think these coins and ones like the Law Enforcement coins may be a coin that is given as presents to those in that career. I have passed on a couple Proof version of the marine corps coin .. holding out for a good deal on a BU one

Quote: Some of those coins do look fantastic I think so too, I hear where some mention they don't like the modern commemoratives, and I know everyone likes something different. But when I show this collection to others, I often hear how they did not know how cool they look or did not know they made so many different ones. There are still some I have not seen in hand, like the 2000 Leif Ericson (mintage 28,150). I have heard it looks really good in hand.

Muddler a long while back we had a thread on here, where we talked about how much space the mint boxes take up in a safe. I searched and found this case. I also purchased and briefcase style one I am putting my slabbed coins in. I really like them and have no complaints so far. As you see I put my ASE in the case with them still in the mint capsules. I put all the mint boxes in plastic storage tub, on a shelf in the garage.

Took me over 6 months of searching to even find one, It was Raw and maybe about a 65... Took 3 more months to Find a TPG MS69 that I could break out for my Type set. Was so glad to have it though. Beautiful Coin.
