Judging from the size of your finger it is a 1 Escudo (1600 reis) of Portugal,It should weigh 3.575g of .9170% gold. Brazil made similar coins but not until 1727. I could be off on my guess of the size, If it weighs double its a 2 escudo or weighs half its a 800 reis

My issue of Krause lists it for 100.00 in that condition, but its prices for gold are badly out of date. Bullion value alone is over 150.00. (assuming its the 1 escudo)
