I'm Dave. Don't you have to, like, go celebrate your birthday or something?

OK, OK, MS-63. The breast marks will keep it down a bit. Relatively sharp strike for a 21D (I think it's a D; little fuzzy on the mintmark but my old eyes are also fuzzy. ). Very pretty light toning and great luster.

Sorry, Dave. See what happens when you reach my age? The synapses no longer synapse. The reflexes no longer reflex. The cholesterol no longer cholesterates. And the nose doesn't know anymore. Guess it's time to hang it up. What birthday?

lol I will say 64 but as you all know these things are unlike any other morgan so it could be a 70 for all I know. I can say if it were a 1878 it would probably be a 63

MS-63 maybe a DMPL? I am not great at grading Morgans. Now I will have to go look in your gallery to see if I was even close.

I haven't checked the gallery yet but everyone seems to be in the 63-64 range of the coin so I am gonna guess its either one of those

My first gut feel is its MS 63 Net.
The obverse suffers from too many very minor marks to to 64. A few less of them would put it over the hump.

I'm a new member here, and a bit out of practice but I'd judge it to be MS-64. A few too many marks for a 65, but a real nice coin!

Welcome, and I'm flattered that you'd pick me to start with. Now, what VAM is this coin?

This VAM thing is something that I know nothing about, I'd have to use the I figured looking at some the coingrading pics would be a good place to start, I can certainly use practice!! Thundercoin
