I found this coin on a Dutch VOC shipwreck that sunk in the early 1700 s. It is a 6 shilling (or 6 stuiver) from 1724, and it looks like gold. How can I find information abouat this coin, such as value and history? And how can I clean it without distroy the coin?

To stop further oxidation, I would suggest you immerse it in olive oil immediately, before deciding what next to do. That's what archeologists do with their coin finds.
