Here's a lower-mintage coin I picked up at yesterday's coin fair. What would you grade it? My camera empasizes the marks over general eye appeal.
The color is an even brown and looks normal. Only some grime present--I see no corrosion.
The portrait and roo look slightly mushy--normal for this year? Thanks for your input!

I'm not good at grading coins.
Had a look at my coin book- price starts at $3.00 for a very good coin.

Thanks everyone for the help! I'm better grading KGV coins, but I suspected this was VF--$4 well spent!

Well done DVCollector, seems you did very well at the coin fair, he he
You must be a very cleaver bargain hunter.
My coin book I am using is the Greg McDonald 2010 pocket guide to Australian coin and Banknotes.
I had a look in the VF an EF section
$28.00 - $90.00
Wow!

Thanks! I've had a good run of luck--and I look for details that get missed.
Most dealers here price to Krause, and not Maccas--which can var a bit.
