This 1806 cent looks pretty nice and might grade F-15 or so. It doesn't look obviously cleaned and the hits are mostly minor. The worst mark appears to be the rim hit at 3:30 on the reverse. The dark color could be an indication of slight corrosion but the surfaces look fairly smooth in these photos. It appears to be the Sheldon S-270 variety (actually, I'm not sure there are any other varieties of the 1806; the Rasmussen collection catalog only lists S-270).

Not a bad looking coin and many collectors would be very pleased to have it in their set.

At least Fine, if not low VF. Beautiful coin and I would certainly love to have that one.
Rest in Peace

Detail of F-12 to 15 decent probably net at VG-10 to F-12. And S-270 is the only variety for 1806.
