the line is solid, like I said in my previous thread.

The 84 looks like it could be Feeder Finger Damage.Just guessing thou.As far as value goes I wish I could help on that aspect.
As far as the Grease Filled Die goes ,Ive seen a few fetch 2 or 3 dollars on ebay.I have a 1990 Greaser that I listed for .99 + 1.50 shipping and it never sold

Feeder Finger Damage seems to be the most plausible answer and would not have been on the planchet before the strike. Remember, the devices are incuse and would be deeper into the die than the gouge above it.

I personally do not put very much value on greasers (if at all) because they can be found so easily. Why pay a few dollars when I all I need to do is pick a few rolls from the bank and just find one?

Now, if they are extreme, then that is a different story. Just my opinion of course.

The first coin is a gas bubble and the second coin is a broken die.

i checked for a gas bubble, but its solid, I poked and scratched it with a paper clip, and its solid. you can imagine the results on the area I poked

broken die, that's a new one, is it what it sounds like, or is there some science/reasoning behind it?

and the big question for me, any value to it?
