Finally, my 1st WAM find and its been a long search. Thanks to coop for really turning me on to these. Photos are with the newly obtained Lighthouse micro digital camera. Grade and any value except personal? Edited by southsav 06/17/2011 6:48 pm

Nice Find! Congrats. Still looking for my first WAM or CAM. I feel at a disadvantage seeing too few total Philly mint coins here in Colorado. Camera/Scope is sweet too. I want one!

Why did you include the FG? Does this have something to do with telling if it is WAM?

In a WAM, the FG is closer to the memorial than on regular cents

The designers initials are one of the diagnostics to confirming the WAM reverse. Nice find! I've been buying '98's and '00's for $8-10 and passing out as gifts, if that helps much.

Congratulations. Very nice find and pics. I've found 3 2000 WAM, but I haven't found a 1998, or 1999.

Not being much of a Lincoln Cent collector, I mostly only look for rotation errors, obviously rarities, any LWC, the WAMs and CAMS and clashes. Oh, and I weigh every 1883 hoping to find a copper one. Do they really exist? I was one of the lucky ones in Coop's great WAM giveaway a couple of months ago.

I weigh all of my roll-found 1983. My 3rd Edition of " Strike it Rich" shows a photo on Pg 75 of a copper planchet 1983 Philly cent that was supposedly found by a fella named Billy Crawford. I'll keep weighing all of mine. David
