As some of you may know, my main collecting and specialty area is Colonials. I have a fair amount of knowledge on error coins however, I need to know what a fair price would be to sell this particular coin. Any info would be great
Dave

It's housed in a PCI AU55 holder.

I likey Heritage has sold a couple others from that era in MS64/65 for $275-325 so I would say an AU55 would probably be in the $200-250 range.
Rest in Peace

sorry, but a 1959 quarter struck on a nickel planchet isn't silver, it's CuNi.

If a silver proof State Quarter is struck on a clad planchet, it's not silver.

vermontensium-

Off metal errors have been HOT for the last couple of years- PCI doesn't help your coin AT ALL! I'd crack it and throw it on ebay with a start of $350- I think you'll do fine.

Thank you Chris. I saw a similar one go for over $400. Yeah, $350 sounds like a fair starting price :)
