1977MS66 New Member Canada 10 Posts	Posted 06/16/2011 11:12 pm Hello all, I was considering bidding on a 1945 1 Dollar Coin on ebay ( http://cgi.ebay.com/Canada-1945-5-5...em20ba5033a5 ) but I am not entirely convinced that it would be wise to do so. I know that the grading is likely off, but my concern is whether it is a fake or not. I read a bunch on this forum and elsewhere and would like somebody else's opinion. Note: I have purchased from this buyer many times before and the issue is not with them, only the 1945 coin. Thanks! Report this Post to the Staff

I have only bothered to return 1 item to them and they did refund my money... then banned me from buying from them. What makes you think it my not be authentic? Report this Post to the Staff
1977MS66 New Member Canada 10 Posts	Posted 06/17/2011 12:08 am Keep in mind that I am fairly new to this. Here are my concerns: - The second last branch of the tree on the right looks a little odd - The paddle of the front (right) person looks too close to the body (maybe this is just how it wears?) - The "C" in Canada looks sort of closed - On other side the nose looks a little straighter on this coin. As far as grading, I expect items to be at least 2 or 3 grades lower than their opinion, again no problem. You get banned for returning things ? Report this Post to the Staff
