Kind of like what a coin this age is supposed to look like. Got handled a little bit early on then just sat around and aged gracefully. Do you think that first star (right side looking) is more so from the strike than from wear ? If from wear then a detail 53 may fit. If from strike a 55 ? Minus luster a 50 ? I would be thrilled with a 50 overall. This coin would fit the bill for a decent 1857 date set of all denoms. I.E.: Cent, nickel etc. Report this Post to the Staff
