I was a little surprised that this one didn't generate a little more interest than it did.
I'd say you're in the ball park Larry - I was figuring VF-30 or VF-35 - I believe there is a mite too much wear for an XF grade. Thanks for responding.

is this real? I'd be wary of buying an CC morgan that is not slabbed.........they are heavily counterfeited.

aladdinslamp - I'm not well schooled on VAMs - what is a VAM 8A? And, what about the coin leads you to believe it's a VAM? - I appreciate the info...

mkman123 - that's a scary thought. I got out the digital scale, and other stuff to weigh and measure it - the weight, diameter, and thickness all seem to agree with the info in the RedBook, and it doesn't stick to a magnet.....leads me to believe it's genuine.

Ralph check vamworld. The 2 has a thickness and doubling.

It's a 35. Closer to 40 than 30. I would like the color to be a little more original...but it is probably O.K. and would probably grade.
