Being closer to Denver I get mostly D mint coins. Those on the east coast get mainly P mint coins. So that got me to thinking, what if we created some kind of community swap.

Those out east swap their P mint coins for those further west and their D mint coins.

Obviously some details need to be worked out, and of course its just an idea. Obviously the one requesting coins would pay for shipping. Perhaps set minimums, etc. My originaly thought was that it would only be available for current mint year coins but I suppose that could change.

I dunno, its just an idea.

I don't understand how this would be different than using the "Post items you have for trade" section on this forum.

I've already got this going with another member on the Presidential dollars. He lives just outside Philly and I live in Wisconsin. I send him 4 rolls of D mint dollars & he sends me an equal number of Philly dollar rolls. We each pay the shipping charges. It works great.

I didnt want to make it an entrepreneurship opportunity, just something more or less that the coin collecting community could do for one another. I also did not think of using the items for trade either. I guess I'll have to pop in on the trading section and see whats there.

Dosen't do me any good. In Illinois it appears that one day I get D coins, the next is Phily coins. I think it hss something to do with the Weather. I compare that since our weather reports are so far off and so are the type of coins I get in change.

It is not, which is why we have a B/S/T section available to those that qualify under the rules.
