Quote: Ouch, I don't like that it doesn't say the purity of the Silver on it. Neither does an ASE. This 1 lb. monster seems to be a direct ASE copy. OTOH, maybe the inclusion of the word "fine" covers it? Does that always mean 0.999 silver? If not, maybe it should.

I've been getting killed on my investments so far, not to mention 5 weeks of skunks in silver hunting boxes...
Not sure if I'll take the risk or not :S Hmmmm
Maybe I'll buy them all, then sell the big "coin".

I should get a picture of this beauty, it is a LOT more impressive than I thought. Yes it is legit silver, it has the tag number to trace it by and everything. Nice to add to the collection.
Still will probably be selling it. How much of a premium above melt should I charge?

So 420 bucks worth of silver spot right now, and as I said I have a Ben 100 dollar bar of the same size, 12 oz.. I figure I would not want to let mine go for less than $500, if I wanted to sell it which I don't , maybe even $520 to clear $100 over spot, but it would probably set for a while....
If you really need to move it, start it at 420, and good chance a couple would push it up to what they think it is worth over spot, and I would say an auction like that would push it up to $475 if not $500....

Thank You SilverHawk... When you say auction, do you mean ebay, or do you mean this website?

Either, even though I think most members here look for items as close to spot as possible as do we all, and yet at the same time I think most understand with a piece that size you are just not gonna get it right at spot probably, minus a few rare and lucky situations. I think again that an ebay auction, or listed here in auction either way would probably produce its true current value.... I have not bought or sold through here yet, but seems like there is no listing fee. So say for example if an item does not get as high here as it may on ebay, it may still equal out as you don't have but just shipping to worry about.... Again, someone who has bought and sold here can probably help with more vital info on that....

Thanks again SilverHawk. Does anyone have an recommendations about selling on here versus ebay? Which is better? Maybe some pros and cons :)

Who would be the expert on this site that would know something about bullion/coins made by a third party?
On the side, the border it says one pound troy .999 fine silver and on the other side of the border it has a number 7973 imprinted.
Does this stamp signify where it was made?
