Hi,

Does anyone have an idea what the following coin is. the other side is worn so I havent posted it up.

Hi, first, I suggest that you post the other side. Worn or not, some extra info. can usually be gleaned from it to help id the coin.

Wow. A real piece of detective work here. At first I wondered if the coin was upside down. The central design looks like it may be the shape of the country/island of issue. I started with the Arabic countries, the plant garland certainly has that feel about it. So far no luck but I will keep searching.

Now I had something to go on, I just found the following Edge inscription on the coin: "ON DEMAND IN LONDON LIVERPOOL OR ANGLESEY .X..". So I think its a Parys Mine Company (Anglesey) copper Conder penny based on the diameter which is 33mm and the edge text.
