I have friends at the Woodforest Bank (in Walmart) near me. One of the tellers told me a story of when she first started at the bank. About eight years ago, she started work in Gulfport, Mississippi. While there, a man brought in a bag of big, shiny dollar coins. She bought the whole bag for the heck of it, then researched them on ebay. "Turns out they were worth way more than a dollar," she told me. "I'll bring one in for you to see."

Well, a few weeks later, I stopped by. She said hello, then said,"I have that coin." She went over to the back and brought back a plastic bag. Inside was a beautiful 2002 American Silver Eagle. I looked at it and told her,"I've only seen these online."

She smiled and said,"It's yours." I reached for my wallet and took out the money, but she said,"Just have it."

After a few minutes of offering her the money for it, I finally said,"Thank you." I said that a few more times before leaving the bank (I bought a couple rolls of pennies), and she kept telling me,"You're welcome."

That is a long story about me getting my first ASE - and I love the design on the coin. Now I want to get the rest of the ASEs from 1986 to present.

I plan on opening an account at Woodforest. They are really nice to me and recognize me when I walk up. I'm friends with most of the tellers, and they like to hear about coins and dollar bills.

It still amazes me how uninformed people can be when spending "money"!

They are pretty - especially the proofs. Too bad I have other things I think are prettier lol. There will always be a demand for them too if you start getting more!

A good woman is harder to find than a good coin.

Take it from me, I know, I'm sure others on this forum do as well.
