I need to see the ends of where the clip/rim meet on both sides better to know for sure. From the image it appears the the rim is there? I don't see the blakesley affect on either side. So a closer image might help?

Usually a clip doesn't show any sort of rim where the missing metal is. It's more of a "cut off" type of look. My guess without seeing more of it would be PMD.

See the weakness in the rim where the clips are happening on this coin?

Note the weakness also of the devices near the devices and the clip?

It may be. Still hard to tell for sure. The rim ding on the IN makes it look damaged. But there is a lamination error on the reverse on UNI on UNITED. Does the edge look roughed up on the clipped area? If it is not like the reast of the rim, then it may have been ground down. The reverse still looks like it is higher than the field? Email me. Maybe a hands on check might be better?

The coin arrived and I took some images. It is a incomplete planchet, but it didn't have the blakeley affect. There is also a lamination error on the reverse. So it has two errors on it.

The clips fade into the edges of the planchets like they should. Thanks for letting me look at the coin.

Laminations around $1. Clips vary in prices as well as coin condition. Hard to say. Put it on the auction forum and see where it goes?

Create some images first before you send them. The 1944 you sent me I was unsure and had to have hands on. I maybe able to confirm what it is with images provided.
