Just moved up to the Eugene area and figured I'd go check out some Antique places. Came across these 2 for 1.50 total. Couldnt pass them up. Errors seem so rare

Nice buy. If if I bring errors into my local coin shop, they usually give me about 12 bucks a piece.

The 1971-d is a lamination. They run in a straight line most of the time. You can see it N-across the forehead-to rim. The area next to the rim may be a lamination peel from what I can see.

Much better Yes, it is a lamination and a small piece delaminated right at the rim.

AH ok awesome...Now I know what to call it :) I assumed it was a Defective Die as no pieces were missing other than the Rim by the "IN". I am kinda liking the Mint Errors, Much more rare to come across than any Memorial cent it seems
