Does anyone know if NGC still offers this service where they grade the coin in the original GSA holder and how much is this service?

yes they do still offer this service and they are the only ones that do, so this is the ONLY service I would ever use when talking about GSA coins

They also offer that service for brown Ikes and a similar service for Redfield holders.
