Time for the 4th go-around. Feels like I just got my Yosemite! Oh well, can't have too much of a good thing, although my bank account might disagree.
I still need a way to store/display. There are some woodworkers on the forum (myself included), perhaps we could come up with a display rack for a few pucks at a time. Anyone have any ideas on this?

These things seem to keep coming faster and faster. Especially since I'm collecting both Bullion and Numismatic versions. Oh well, can't say that I don't enjoy it. Would love to hear some ideas on how to keep and display them. It would be huge!

Why does silver have to keep plummeting though? Gah!
If I wait long enough, I should be able to get a full 2010 bullion set for 600 bucks.
I don't collect the bullion versions but if silver drops low enough I may try to get the bullion jammies to offset my numismatic insanity.
*tightens belt one notch*

I personally think the 2010 bullion will hold its value but the 2011 will be affected by spot silver. As more people able to get the bullion coins of 2011 and beyond the stronger the price for 2010 bullion version.
Also, remember that the collector version of 2010 will also have similar pattern if the Mint start to lower the price of 2011 collector version and beyond to bring more buyers..... just my thought.

Looks like the label was printed with a P-touch in someone's garage on that bullion version. Would hate to drop $300 on $170 worth of silver that "someone" says is MS-70.

How is it possible this seller continues to sell in violation of ebay policy? NGA is not a recognized slabber

The countdown begins. About 10.5 hours before we get to spend 280 bucks. So there are 133 CCF members, according to the stats on the left. And I know not every member buys these monsters (though they should because they're cool). So... where do the other 26,925 go? Dealers using techniques to score multiples for obscene ebay markups and/or multiples to send in for the grading lottery? Are there.. *gasp* collectors that don't know about this forum? Nearly 27,000 of them? I would definitely expect a large number from that pool. I didn't know about this group until about 4 months ago and I've been collecting for years. For the remainder...now I know that there are a LOT of coin collectors out there, but no one I know (besides myself..ahem) even knows that these behemoths exist. I just wonder who's buying. They are obviously selling out.

This is a VERY small forum and as you said there are MANY coin collectors out there. I use another coin form that has over 33,000 members and a single thread on the 5oz. pucks has over 15,000 posts

Interesting, Foxwoods, thanks for the info.
So my friends don't necessarily share my proclivities... namely OCD collecting (no, I'm not a hoarder - no cat skulls to be found in my house other than the ones surrounded by animate purring tissue).
Even with a few fold more members, I can't imagine the other board has much more insight than what we have right here. And, at that rate of posting, how does one keep up?
Ok, gotta rest up these fingers for the crazed charge to buy Grand Canyon. :)
Who's been there, by the way? I was, 30+ years ago. Probably time for a revisit.

Yep, just got my order in too. Took about 5 minutes once I got logged in. The site was a bit sluggish but not painfully slow. Hooray! Another 5 oz. of insanely overpriced silver for the coffers! :)

I think I might stop after Mount Hood. Hopefully the mintage numbers go up for 2011 and the price drops as well. The premium on these things is way too much for me to consider a whole set.
