Hopefully the mintage numbers go up for 2011 and the price drops as well.

I doubt if you will see the mintages go up. It is taking them longer and longer to sell out each successive 2010 coin. They will probably decide that 27,000 is probably a pretty good figure for the mintage. In fact as interest cools we may even see mintages go DOWN making the 2010's the most common ones. Now prices for the 2011's may go down. the Mint sold the first two 2010's when silver was high and decided they needed to keep the price the same for all of them. but when the 2011's come along they may drop the price some to reflect to lower cost of silver. or they may not in order to protect themselves in case it goes back up.

I think you will be correct on that one...the price will either go down or it won't

2 weeks seems to be the standard for them to sell out. Not too bad I think..

And a quick ebay search of completed auctions shows these still selling for ~$325-$380, so one could get one's money back plus a bit if needed.

Pretty much stopping after Mt. Hood, @ $280 a pop these are some expensive babies... Will probably get the four Civil War coins: Gettysburg, Vicksburg, Harper's Ferry & Fort Sumter/Moultrie. Also can see an icons of America subset: The Alamo, The Statue of Liberty & Mount Rushmore...

On the other hand, the 2012 coins are varied and interesting. Really like the Acadia and the Hawai'i Volcanoes designs the CCAC picked out. Hoping that the Mint keeps up with the quality of the designs, so much more unified and dignified than the 50 State Quarters.

As for storage, I've come up with a solution that works for now. I store them five at a time inside Z5s inside an AIr-Tite album which holds six pages. Air-Tite does not sell the album this way, so I just bought the cards separately.

According to Numismatic News, as of June 23, 14 days after they went on sale, they still has 3,896 of #3 still to sell. That is one seventh of the mintage, and in the previous week they only sold 2,593 coins. So it looks very likely that after 21 days they probably still have coins to sell. ianmprice says they are still on sale on the website, so I still think sales are slowing.

Yup, sold out after 14 days...

Yup, still "on sale" but .... they have no more coins. If a CC is denied and an order is cancelled they will send to a waiting list person instead.

Same process as coin #1...sold out/wait list after 15 days
................coin #2...sold out (no wait list) 15 days
................coin #3...sold out/wait list 14 days

"The number of orders we have taken meets the maximum limit for the 2010 America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin™ -- Yosemite National Park Coin. You may still place an order for this product, which will go on a waiting list. If a product becomes available due to an order cancellation, we will fulfill orders from the waiting list on a first-in, first-served basis."

Got it! Or at least I think I did. On my desk I have a heavy box from the mint that I haven't opened. I'm also expecting the ASE, and some other stuff so it could be that too.

Can't wait to get home and crack it open!

Anyone got pics of theirs to post?

Just opened mine up. Spectacular coin, as always. Not sure if it's my favorite design of 2010 but I like it!
