Usually would say on coin or token (can't read all the writing ) if was those percentages of silver, try a powerful magnet on it. I have a similar looking, Apollo 11 token, unknown mint, magnetic ... great history!

I tried the magnetic test and it does not stick. I did notice the initials NCS 1966 EF right above the 6000. On the reverse, it says FRUDAKIS under the rocket blast. I believe the EF stands for EvAngelos Frudakis, who is an artist and sculptor. I googled him and found this link.

It states the medal is .925 sterling silver. Also NCS stands for National Commerative Society. So after some detective work, I answered my own question. :)

I have had similar ones like this in the past. Some of the private mints would stamp the edge of the coin with its purity. If you have any others, you might want to check there as well. It might be hard if you didn't want to take it out of its capsule though.
