I think it's the real deal, I think it goes 63-ish, and I think it's closing on its' true value at around $250.
If I had the money, I'd sniff at $300 for this coin, and I would spend it. It's a headlight, man. It's true. I don't think you'll get to snipe it at these numbers, but if you do....

Beautiful coin. Would make a nice addition to any collection, and so I do also think this will get bid over $300 at this rate.

Two thoughts: Nice coin but I hesitate buying from ebay sellers with only 8 or anything under a hundred feedbacks Good for you that I have enough integrity to refrain from sniping you out LOL

Yeah, I would stay away from a new ebayer. It maybe a solid buy but who knows if he is legit.

I guess it's just me, but I'd like to see a clearer pic; it does look nice in those posted, but none of them seem sharp and detailed to me, in a good light.

**GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC NEVER CLEANED OR ALTERED IN ANYWAY** Saying that indicates if you find it to be a fake, you get your money back. Looks good to me too. I would take a run into the low 300's if I had the bucks. And send it immediately to a TPG.

I looked at his feedback and all nine positive comments are for cigarette lighters and electronic cigarettes. He showed the coin to a respected coin dealer and why didn't he sell the coin to that dealer? If he was as respected as he would have us believe then the dealer would have offered him a very price for the coin or at least recommended that he have the coin professionally graded. By having it come back slabbed as DMPL he would get the most money for the coin. Listing it the way he did he'll get a bit of a premium over MS-63 but not as much as he should if it truly is a gem, MS-65 or better. Ed ANA LM-3175

What's the chances this is one of the new, well-made fakes? Would the value of this coin make it worth creating a counterfeit, and is that even a consideration anymore with the value of nice Morgans in general?

If that is a real coin which I think it is. It should be graded and sold through Heritage or one of the other big auction houses. It looks great. I would run in the other direction. And would not bid more than $300. If you do I won't win the bid. Just kidding.

Risky business! Images look good, but I don't trust much photography of raw proof, PL or DMPL coins.

Whoa, $455 at the last second - I guess that's what they mean by sniping!
