Well, I'm on vacation in oak island, north Carolina this week. There are several antique stores around and I though they might have some coins. Only one of the 4 had any worth looking at though.
I came out with 2 siver washingtons and a Mercury dime.

1943 Washington $3.50
1947 Washington $3.50

1943 Mercury $2.00

I might upload pics later.

Very nice!

As a side note, I recommend a trip up the light house while you are there (if you have not already).

I bought a bunch of silver antique items from an antique mall this last fathers day. They are all pretty silver plated random item things.

I did pick up a few coins. I bought some Indian Head cents just for the sake of having some. I did find a replica of a 1793 eight reale that is supposedly an exact replica including silver content the only difference is where REPLICA was part of the motto. I paid $7 for it as a curiosity.

Funny thing, I looked around for info about it and I found a page where someone pointed out that one sold on ebay for MAD money and the photo clearly showed the coin and the words REPLICA. Clearly not all buyers pay much attention to what they throw money at.

It is well worth the effort, and a pretty good workout, too.
