Another Paypal Question Just For Clarification

I attempted a purchase and could not proceed as I needed to verify and link a bank account or get their credit card. I don't want their credit card. Reading past posts, I can open a secondary bank account with minimum balance and use that account to get verified. That should reestablish my PayPal account. Right? Are future purchases still backed by my credit card I have listed with them, or does it pay with the bank account funds? Or do I still have a payment option source: linked Bank account, credit card, PayPal positive balance, etc. My preference is to continue to pay buy my listed credit card, and not have them transact with any bank account. Before disputes are even settled, the $$ is taken from your acct. If you dont have the funds, you could go into debt big with your bank. Since paypal covers their butts by gauanteeing a refund, now they come after you. You can ALWAYS pay with a positive balance, or add $$ to a neg. balance. Report this Post to the Staff

southsav Pillar of the Community 2224 Posts	Posted 06/29/2011 9:00 pm So, If I; -Open a separate bank account with minimums and use that acct to get verified -future purchases using PayPal, I will still have the option to use a registered credit card, that bank acct or funds in PP to make the payment.
