2 ebay: Will PayPal guarantee my money if I order five of these? $360 for $2500 of silver is a bargain.

I don't know if it is the lighting or what. But some of those coins look as if the copper is showing through the silver wash.

Photo came from a real? ebay ad. They were asking $3777 for 100 Peace dollars, as I recall. They may be real, but this offer is NOT. I reported this sale again.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

It will be interesting to see how long it will take a new account to pop up with this identical listing, once this one is shut down.
I say that because this listing is identical to one we exposed last week.

well yes interesting. but not funny... since we have these lemons and they absolutely, positively do not, will not stop until they are dead ( a little Terminator here ) ha the question is how do we make lemonade ! if we become or just we may just drop it, become bored , disgusted and leave the new, the uninformed, the gullible (like me ) to their own expensive education ,, while that might be ok I think we can and will do better

Just saw this [quote][/quoSmiling! Here is a cute one! Proof that you can never underestimate the innovativeness of American Farm Boys: At a high school in Montana , a group of boy students played a prank . . . . ... They let three goats loose inside the school. But before turning them loose, they painted numbers on the sides of the goats: 1, 2 and 4. School Administrators spent most of the day looking for No. 3. Now that's funny, I don't care who you are.... te] hmm somthing along those lines ?

keep in mind our biggest enemy is ebay. every one of these cons we track down takes money out of their pocket if they close the listing, plus costs them time to manually read and respond. I'm wondering if their guarantee is any good? Ten of us each buying $3600 of fake/non-existent coins should get someone's attention pdq.

Already gone. ebay is onto it; they told me after nuking the Peace dollar offering that it's a hijacked-account situation. You can only react to that, and it's a big blip on their radar. Chances are it's the same group.

They're lying. The account was opened a month ago, and FB was all for under-$1 jewelry. That sounds like a prepared account (from singapore, IIRC). If you're gonna hijack an account, you get one that sells big ticket items and is in the US.

I dunno. You take what you can get in terms of hacking; such is the greed of the mark that you really don't have to be sophisticated to take their money. This is, in part, what ebay told me about the Peace auction: Quote: I investigated this listing and confirmed that it was ended and removed from the site on June 26th. After review of the seller's account I see that the account has been taken over by someone else to apparently list these fraudulent auctions. It was not the owner of the account who listed these coins. The account has been suspended until the issue is cleared up.
