Hi everyone,
I've always been curious to know how some of you came up with your forum names...
Mine is Kitkat1858: kitkat is my cat's name, and the 1858 penny was the first key date coin in my collection.

I'm in the Air Force (AF), I own a classic (CLASSIC) 1967 mustang, and I was born in 1987 (1987). That's the story behind my tag.

Muddler: for the Muddler Minnow, my favorite fishing fly, and the name of my jeep that I take 4x4 driving in the mud.

After a few tries to come up with a name I wanted (all taken) I settled with a name spelled backwards. Since then I have come up with a better name but I don't see any way to change it now.

Whenever my Mommy got mad at me she would yell, "glenzy.............", that's when I knew I was in for an old fashioned beatin'! Now that I'm 49 and I had to pick a Forum I.D., it was the first thing that came to my mind. (goes to show you how much I was yelled at) Unfortunately, "glenzy" was already taken on E-bay so I used "glenzy1" and carried it through to C.C.F. as well as a dozen other internet websites! So if you see the I.D. name> "glenzy1" on E-bay, C.C.F, Chesscube.com, and a couple of other unmentionable sites, you'll know it's your truly!! glenzy1

Years ago when I tried to come up with a user name for a work-related forum, the best I could do was this one. I work as medic, and the orange stripe on the side of the ambulance, per federal specs, is a Dupont Imron paint (don't remember the code number) called "Omaha Orange". It is also (I think) the same color The California Department of Transportation uses on their vehicles. Sounded good, so I used it. I am not registered on any other forums under another screen name. This is the one I always use.

I used it back in high school because the mascot was a ranger. In high school you think you will always care about that kind of stuff. At least I didn't buy a school coat or class ring. Now I'm well past college graduation and my high school combined with two other schools and are no longer the rangers. Still use it though because no body else seems to use the name much.

I lived in St. Joseph, Michigan when I came up with my name. The Blues comes from two things: I am a fan of blues music, and also a huge fan and graduate of the University of Michigan - GO BLUE!

My initials. But I've used them, in lower case, long before the Internet came along to identify myself, as my last name is rather long, and when you have kids standing in line to get their passes signed, you start cutting corners.

rachums107 is the same as my ebay account, and rachums came from the nickname my older brother calls my younger brother and I. We are known as "the rachums". 107 was just a random number.

I like Ugly's explanation also - thanks for the laugh. I grew up in Oklahoma and combined that with my initials.
