Looks like greasers, but anyone in the know can help?

One is a 77D stamped on a proof planchet? Trust is missing letters as well as some of the stars in the background.

One seems like a huge greaser- almost nothing but the kennedy bust.

Also, can someone elaborate on the key dates of the Kennedy halves? I was told 78P/D, 86P, 93P. Is there any values to these? Sites on the web point to anywhere from 58c to $7 for circulated conditions.

looks like you called it right. it reminds me of the quality of the Chinese fakes.

pardon my ignorance please ,,, die filled with grease?
and the black stain, color,look like cheap fakes ?
but the low value makes them not worth counterfeiting ?

The raised parts of a coin are cut into the die. If they fill up with grease and crap from the machines, the metal from the blank has nowhere to go.

fake makers don't have high QC.
