What does everyone think about this [eBayItem]220803982751[/eBayItem]? Something just doesn't look right about that date.

I spent a long time looking through fairtraderz items a couple months back, made a lot of offers but only ever bought one coin. Most of their stuff is really overpriced but I think its the real deal.
Wait til the others look at it though.

Although verifying via photos is shaky at best, my personal opinion is that it is a normal 1922 D of low grade. It appears to have environmental damage and I do not think it would grade. I would certainly pass, and probably most have.

1) Not a strong reverse
2) Environmental damage
3) 99.9% sure it's not a no D

There are some coins that you just have to buy certified; this is one of them. You can always remove it from the slab if you want to place it in an album (save the paper insert).
