If you have a 6p collection in an old (and I mean old, 60's) Whitman folder, would it be a good idea to find a better way to store them and which option would you go with? I am open to all suggestions since I can't find an album specifically made for British coins. I have some from Pre-George VI also so I don't feel restricted to the years in the old folder. I would like to work on getting a good full set even back into the 1800's in the future after I get a few of my American sets completed. I just really like the design of the 6p and since my favorite American coin is the nickel these reminded me alot of those hence the reason I enjoy this series also.
I apologize but it seems my pictures are not coming through from my gallery.
Saw on other site about whitman folder, some of the low side of the folder was it contaminate the coin, that is what they say and whitman is scarce or few dealers sell them maybe because of that problem.
I have no mylar 2by2 so I store my coin on ordinary coin holder and put them in a album.
