I'm not sure if it's completely noticeable but there is a second crack extending from edge to edge running through his nose, hair and in between ER.

Die cracks aren't straight. Laminations are. This looks like a lam to me.

with coop,especially with the line above. With the two lines so close together it's more likely a LAM. IMHO,

The rolling of the metals didn't flow together, but were pressed together. Thus they were not bonding tightly together. Sometimes you see this on obverse & Reverse.
