Man I HATE the restrictions on picture uploads. I got the scan, just can't upload them due to the size and file type :(

I'd say melt value for the silver dimes and most of the quarters. $1 to $2 each for the Liberty nickels; $2 each for the Ikes. I don't know about the silver dollars.. Nice addition to a collection!

I have a bunch of foreign coins I'll scan in later, but I paid $250.

A few others I didn't get scanned in are:
1958 Canadian Dollar (totem pole) looks like silver
Canadian Klondike Dollar
8 steel pennies

The top 4 Ikes are "S" mint and look like 90% silver, the bottoms are regular Ikes (that I'm aware of)

I think $250 wasn't a bad deal.

Ah, yes.. Silver Proof Ikes are a different Story.. Thought I don't think they made 90% silver Ikes, just 40% clad, I thought..

Either way, looks good!

The 1971-S will be 40% silver clad. The 1971 and 1971-D are Cu-Ni clad. The photo is not close enough for me to see if any mint mark is present, but I will take your word that they are 1971-S!

The 40% silver dollars look like 80% silver since the outer clad layers are 80% silver and 20% copper (the inner core is 79.1% copper and 20.9% silver).

Regardless of Silver or Cu-Ni, you have nine Eisenhower dollars, which is very nice in my book!

Sorry I hit enter too quickly... (anyone know how to edit/delete your own posts?)

Shockergd, you win :) lol

I guess I could try to zoom in on a bunch of these to see if any are worth anything. I just used a basic scanner/printer combo. I need to find out how to take closer pics.

Are any of these worth zooming in on/need more detail if they are of interest? Or are most just a typical silver? Thanks guys :)
Rest in Peace

w135, there should be a small trash can above your post - use that to delete, the pencil-and-paper icon to edit.

Nice group! I can tell that you're going to have a lot of fun with these. I don't think it matters whether or not you got your money's worth via what you paid (unless you really got ripped, and so far no one thinks that you have), it's how much fun you have with your purchase. Take $250 to the carnival and spend it - you'll have a lot of fun, cotton candy, popcorn - maybe win a stuffed bear that comes apart next week or a chintzy candy dish that breaks - but years from now? Ya still have your coins, and they'll probably be worth MORE than they were when you got 'em!
