Because you can. That does not mean there is any point to it. I can't see one.

From a metallurgical point of view, just proves that brazing is used to join copper and it's alloys to steel.

Normally, copper and iron will not alloy. It is a bit like trying to dissolve oil into water.

Somebody made it to carry in their pocket on a key ring. They probably
just needed a small screwdriver to adjust a machine or carburetor or whatever and this was their solution. There are commercial pocket screwdrivers made to carry on your key ring but this is homemade.

You'll just have to track down whoever "TS" is, and ask them.

I've often found myself wanting a screwdriver to do a quick tightening job and it is always frustrating to try and track down a screw driver. Something like that on my keychain would be very handy.

That's AWESOME! a handy keychain screwdriver. You get those phillips bits for free in a box of drywall screws, and a quarter costs 25 cents... so for 25 cents, you could have a nice screwdriver... then figure in the state/territory/atb quarters, you could have a Grand Canyon screwdriver for 25 cents.

I like it!

If you used a Kentucky State Quarter would it still be called a screwdriver, or would you call it a mint julep?
