Hi folks! This coin was just (gently!) removed from its ANACS slab.

Once again, see if you can guess what they had it graded. Thanks for looking!

I'm really digging the toning that appears once these guys are released into the wild!

I'll throw out an AU-55. Another beauty, btw.

Looks like a trace of wear on the top of the head and on the leg. I think it may be AU-58. Really, really nice!

It looks more like a weak strike at the top of the obverse and tallons on the reverse.

If it's wear, I would agree AU58.

If a weak strike slide it in at MS61/2.

Very nice coin.

AU58 - is there a little wear in the motto letters, or maybe just the pic?

I'm going with AU 50, again another 80's date. I'm jealous!

I like it as a 58. No lower than a 55.

Moe I'm really trying to see wear. Tell me if I'm wrong.
Obverse: Hair top of head and stars next to hair (this may be weak strike). Right thigh.
Reverse: Right talon (again may be weak strike). Above eagles eye.
All this may be weak strike like I said. If so MS-61 or 62.
If this isn't weak strike but wear AU-55.
Moe let me know which.

I would say a weak strike and call it a 62.

oh my gosh Moe, that is an absolute beauty! You've got a good eye for quality low mintage Seated halves. You don't see them come up every day. I have no idea what the grade is, since it all depends on the remaining luster imho, and I can't quite make it out; but high AU seems probable.
